Alkalizing Tomato and Asparagus Soup
This highly alkaline soup is delicious, healthy and very easy to prepare. It can be used as a light starter or a main course!
Ingredients10 medium sized green asparagus spears
5 vine-ripened tomatoes
2 ripe avocados, flesh scooped out
1 bunch of fresh parsley or coriander
1 handful of baby spinach leaves
1/4 cup of dried onions OR fresh diced onions
3 garlic cloves
1 red or green pepper, seeded
2-3 pinches sea salt
Optional: fresh herbs (like thyme, rosemary, etc)
2 organic lemons, cut into thin slices
Instructions
Finely puree all ingredients, apart from the lemon slices for garnishing, in a powerful blender and then gently heat in a large pot.
Garnish the soup with the lemon slices.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
