BANANA BREAD



INGREDIENTS: Organic oats, 100% Stone Ground Hard Red Winter Whole Wheat, Baking Powder, Wild Honey, Fresh Bananas and egg whites.


RECIPE


1 Cup Oats (Blended)
1/2 cup wheat
2 teaspoon Rumsford Non-Aluminum Baking Powder
1/8 cup Mrs. Crockett's Wild Honey
2 egg whites
4 fresh bananas


DIRECTIONS

a. Mash bananas until creamy
b. Beat in honey, egg whites and bananas. Mix wheat, oats and baking powder
d. Add banana puree to dry ingredients and mix well
e. Spread in glass loaf pan
f. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees 45-50 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

NOTES: Shake baking powder before taking out the 2 teaspoons.Cool on rack for atleast an hour. If you like banana bread with tiny bits of bananas in it and more bananary than other banana breads, this is the banana bread for you. It is full of fiber, vitamins B, C, Potassium, Protein and various minerals. You may have the option to add the omega 3 rich walnuts in the mix. This banana bread also tastes wonderful cold. The other day I made my chocolate with the olive oil and cocoa, poured it over a thick slice, refrigerated it. It was probably the best dessert I ever tasted. It is absolutely comparable to a fancy restaurant dessert. I topped it with some cinnamon to give it not only an extra taste but to look pretty on the plate. IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT THAT YOU LET THE FRESH BANANAS GET REAL RIPED. THEY SHOULD HAVE MANY BROWN SPOTS ON THEM ALONG WITH A VERY DARK YELLOWISH SKIN.
