Hi Dee,

As you know, we've mentioned this when we've chatted before, Kathy and I primarily adhere to the so-called paleo/caveman diet under the assumption that the human diet should consist of the natural foods eaten by our ancestors before the agricultural revolution over the last 10,000 years or whatever; the premise being that 10,000 years is too short a timespan for our bodies to evolve to eat grain.  Now, I realize this is controversial, but given this philosophy one could argue that any grain, whether whole grain or not is not a natural normal type of food the body naturally recognizes and requires.  That said, still, very credible nutrition experts like yourself maintain that whole grains to some extent are actually even healthy and beneficial to humans.  Can you comment on what to me seems to be a discrepancy?  Thanks!
