Greek Tzatziki Sauce
This sauce makes a great accompaniment to fresh veggies,greek salads, kabobs and "Greek stuffed turkey burgers" in the Plan-D book page 87.
6 oz organic plain Greek Yogurt
juice of 1/2 of a medium lemon
1 med cucumber, peeled
3 large cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh dill, minced
Garlic Salt, to taste
Cracked Black Pepper, to taste
Slice cucumber in half, length wise. Using a spoon, scrape out seeds. Finely shred cucumber and place in paper towels or a nut milk bag and squeeze out extra moisture.
Then combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, shredded cucumber, dill, garlic, garlic salt, and pepper. Refrigerate in an air tight container for 1 hour before serving.
