Hi,
I am curious to know if anyone on this forum has any experience with Hashimoto's Disease?

I am 3/4 of the way through Dee's book, and I have completely changed my diet over the past month.  Now I am told that I have this "incurable" disease.

I would love to know how a change in diet has helped others with this issue.
Thanks,
Sara

Hi Saralynn,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting.  Hashimotos's is not "incurable" (although most allopathic doctors will tell you that and only treat your symptoms), and diet can be very helpful.  The processed-free plan is the first thing you can do to start.  The next step is to find a healthcare professional who is knowledgeable in natural treatment for endocrine disorders.  You need the right combo of diet and supplements, and you need to be tested properly to find out what works the best for you.

~Best,
Dee

What constitutes "properly tested" for Hashimoto's disease?  Even that seems to be controversial.  I have about 8 reasons to believe I'm hypothyroid but my T4 tests have always been within normal ranges.
