Herbed Vegetable Broth Powder

Ditch the expensive store bought broths and try this cost effective vegetable broth powder that is made with healthier ingredients than traditional broths and has only half the sodium! I use this broth powder in any recipes that call for chicken broth as well as vegetable broth. The taste will simply blow you away! 

Ingredients:

3/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/3 cup sea salt
1/4 cup dried mushrooms
1/4 cup dried mixed vegetables
1 1/2 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp dried dill
1 tsp dried lemon zest/peel
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried majoram

Directions:

Add ingredients to a powerful blender or food processor in the order listed and blend for 1-2 minutes on a medium-high speed until mixture is a fine ground powder.
 
Store in closed container in cool, dry place. Use 1 teaspoon powder and 1 cup water to make 1 cup broth.
