Lemon Ginger Lettuce Wraps
Makes 5-6 wraps
Ingredients:
1 lemon
1 cup raw almonds
¼” fresh ginger root
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon gluten-free low sodium Tamari Sauce
5-6 large lettuce leaves
5 pitted dates
1 cup sprouts
1 clove garlic
2 cups shredded raw veggies such as carrots, beets and zucchini
Instructions:
Blend lemon, ginger, tamari sauce, dates and 1 clove garlic until smooth. Process almonds and garlic until chopped fine. On a leaf of lettuce, place almond/garlic mixture, then shredded veggies and sprouts, followed by the lemon ginger sauce. Roll and slice in half. Serve.
