Dee,

What type of pots and pans would you recommend? Teflon coated, stainless steel, etc. I thought I read an article about that teflon releases some chemicals, I may be wrong but I am just a little concerned. I am in the market for some new ones. I do know that you never should rinse a pot or pan right after use since it has to cool completely first.

Stainless steel or cast iron are the best.  Teflon pans have a toxic chemical in them.  Foods cooked in aluminum will absorb aluminum, which is also toxic.
