Springtime Asparagus

sea salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp. cilantro, chopped
1 clove(s) garlic, minced
1 green onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. filtered water
1 Tbsp. natural peanut butter
1 Tbsp. unrefined/expeller pressed sesame oil
1 1/2 tsp. tamari sauce
1 1/2 tsp. rice wine vinegar OR brown rice vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. ginger- fresh, grated
1 1/4 lb. asparagus, trimmed

Steam asparagus until slightly tender, but not entirely cooked.
Combine garlic, ginger, rice wine vinegar, tamari, sesame oil, sea salt and pepper in a bowl.
Brush asparagus with one tablespoon of dressing.
Broil for 3 to 4 minutes or until asparagus is tender.
Whisk together peanut butter, cilantro and water into remaining dressing; toss with asparagus.
Transfer to a serving platter; sprinkle with green onion.
