I have been using True Whey in my morning smoothies, but recently I discovered a brand of vegan protein powder called "Raw Protein" by Garden of Life.  It contains sprouted brown rice protein, amaranth sprout, quinoa sprout, millet sprout, buckwheat sprout, garbanzo bean sprout, lentil sprout, adzuki bean sprout, flax seed sprout, sunflower seed sprout, pumpkin seed sprout, chai seed sprout, sesame seed sprout, high protein cracked wall chlorella, natural vanilla flavor and stevia.

My question is: which type of protein powder is a better choice nutritionally - True Whey or Raw Protein?

Both types of protein are equally beneficial.  Asking which is better is like asking whether an apple is better than an orange!  The answer is that they both have unique health benefits, and you can eat both.

I am a fan of Garden of Life Raw Protein, and I do recommend it for those who don't want to use whey.  However, its nutritional benefits are unique and different from whey protein, which is also a very healthy and beneficial type of protein.

They are both healthy and recommended, however not at the same meal.  In other words, you don't need to mix them together into the same smoothie.  One or the other is recommended.  Alternating them on different days or for different meals could work too.
